When differentiating PV(delta) and PV(i)

If I understand the question correctly, remember that when one is calculating the $$PV'(\delta)$$ is the time where we are differentiating an exponential. Recall;
$$\frac{\partial e^{-\delta n}}{\partial \delta} = -n e^{-\delta n}$$
This leads to the difference in appearance of the $$PV'(\delta)$$ and $$PV'(i)$$.
